• How does the Subscriptions contract work?

  There's no contract so to speak, this is more similar to you using a software as a service and the contract between us are our terms of service.

• What is your refund policy?

  You can cancel or pause your subscription at any moment in time, but due to the quality and nature of the work there are no refunds.

• How do I request designs?

  You can write down your request in Trello and We'll work on them one request at a time.

• What programs do you design in?

  We mainly design in Figma, but also use the Adobe Creative Suite where applicable

• Who are the designers?

  Nordlean is a one-man agency with our principal designer Vas working and overseeing most of the production, although we use other freelancers on occasion.

• Why wouldn't I just hire a full time designer?

  Good question, hiring is a tricky thing to do and it's really hard to find people that are a good fit for a workplace, culture and so on. Contrary to us being a member of your team, you can think of it as a service, if you're not happy with the service you can leave instantly, no need to do lengthy onboarding processes and spend time and resources on HR, not to mention we're cheaper, but the quality is the same, if not better.

• How can I communicate with you?

  All communications happen within Slack. We work asynchronously, and tend to reply within 24 hours for all requests.

• What design work is NOT included?

  Nordlean is a specialist in Product Design, therefore things like custom 3D designs, custom illustrations, complex animations or motion design, packaging and print design are not included.

• What code work is NOT included?

  Nordlean is a specialist in UI Development, this means that things like state management, complex front-end logic and back-end are not included.

• What strategy work is NOT included?

  There is no limit to strategy work but it's important to understand that Nordlean should be considered as an advisor/consultant and individual contributor in this matter, Nordlean does not take responsibility or liability for strategic decisions, we're only there to help you find the way.

• Is there a limit on how many requests I can have?

  Nope, you have unlimited requests, but they will be worked on one-by-one.

• How fast will I receive my designs?

  This depends on complexity and size of the request. We usually deliver requests within 48/72 hours. Please be aware that complex requests might take longer. On this purpose it is better to divide your requests into smaller tasks. To provide a high quality of service online calls are limited (after the intro call), and all of the documentation is written and delivered with the work.

• What languages/framework do you code in?

  We offer Webflow and Framer no-code builds as well as UI development with CSS, Tailwind and Styled Components. We create advanced prototypes in ProtoPie, Axure or HTML&CSS, depending on your requirements.

• What software is used for strategy?

  We use mainly Notion to deliver all our documentation, with FigJam and Overflow used for flowcharts, user flows, wireflows and journeys. We use other sets of tools depending on your requirement and are open to using any tools you are most familiar with.
